
About Dr Stephen Roberts MB ChB, MD, MRCP, BACD
After completing his medical training at the University of Edinburgh, Dr Roberts worked in several medical specialties at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, Manchester Royal Infirmary, Northampton General Hospital and John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. He obtained a postgraduate doctorate for his research work (MD Edinburgh) and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP London)
Since taking up a Consultant post in South Manchester University Hospitals, Dr Roberts has gradually developed his interests in Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine. He attended cosmetic training courses in Manchester and Oxford before achieving registration with the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors and establishing his Cosmetic Skin Clinic. He regularly attends conferences organised by the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group and the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors to keep his practice up to date and be at the forefront of new developments.
Through his interest in skin disorders he has been involved in NHS Dermatology clinics and obtained the Diploma in Practical Dermatology in 2003 from Cardiff University. He regularly attends professional meetings for Dermatologists at Salford University Skin Department and at national conferences organised through the British Association of Dermatologists. Dr Roberts is qualified in the diagnosis and management of all types of Cosmetic Skin Disorders.
